Roxy's Arcade: Discover the Ultimate Barcade Experience in Cambridge

Roxy's Arcade is a small barcade™ located in Cambridge Massachusetts. I've been there a few times and really enjoy the vibe. They have two rotating beers on tap and a full bar that makes mixed drinks and cocktails. They also have a good selection of canned beers and game themed drinks and shots. The adjacent restaurant has some pretty delicious food as well as sharable snacks like fries, mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers, and pretzels. The arcade game selection is just okay. They also have several pinball machines, a basketball machine, a newer Mario Kart racing machine, and some consoles hooked up at the two bars for games like Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter and Tekken. All game machines use tokens which really locks in the retro vibe of the place. The only real downside is that their game selection is a bit limited. Furthermore, due to lack of sufficient space if you go there on a weekend it's a bit hard to move around. Otherwise it's a pretty cool place to hang out with your friends. If they get some better games this place would be perfect. I'd definitely visit again (on a weeknight).

It's a really cute arcade with a good selection of games. There's a cover charge of $5 and you need to get $10 of tokens to play. It's about 4 to 6 tokens for most games. The menu is veg friendly, delicious and reasonably priced. Music was really loud, we couldn't even hear the guitar hero music on the machine. One caution though, always keep your cup of tokens within sight. We lost our fresh cup of tokens when we left it in a caddy next to our game. Staff tried to help us find it and we found a sad cup with a quarter of its coins left. Really disappointing event that's due to our own naivete. Probably won't come back anymore.

Counter service. Good price points. Lots of options. The food was delivered to our table quickly and it was delicious. Poutine Fries w/ Cheese Curds and Mushroom Burger. Way up there!

I stopped by this arcade to kill some time while waiting for a friend, and ended up having a great time. I’ve recently gotten into pinball, so I was really excited to find some machines here—and they were a lot of fun! One thing to note is that the coins cost about twice as much as at other places, so it felt a bit pricey. The space isn’t huge, but it has a cozy, welcoming vibe. There are also game tables where you can play while enjoying food with friends, which is a nice touch. Definitely a fun little spot to check out!

Food and service was pretty good. We were rejected from entering the arcade given we only had our driver's license and not our passport. Not a good way to attract international customers. Food was good but given the entry vibe, we won't be going back.

Very good, quick food with a super friendly and accommodating staff. Love the Nintendo decor and top notch tunes playing!

Our first time at Roxy’s and boy did we love it. Parking was easy, right out front. The Justin burger was heavenly and kudos were made for the double-friend chicken sandwich. The arcade brought back memories from decades ago, standing for hours in front of a pinball machine! Hi5! all the way around.

Reviewing mainly for the arcade: it’s a fun spot with a good deal - 40 tokens for $10, with most games costing around 4 tokens each. The selection is decent, though not the most extensive, and it can get pretty crowded on weekend evenings. Still, a lively place for casual gaming fun!
